How I Do Mailers.
I mentioned that I took the fast track approach when I spoke to the Media 1
Adviser when I first became a member. They told me that I would have access to Mailers and that each name given, had a value of about $7 to $10 per name at cost to the company, and given to me for Free, so that I would have names in order to market my business. They sent me 250 mailers with address labels to press on and mail out with the appropriate .26 cents per piece postage, which I cheerfully paid for the opportunity to acquire new members to join my company efforts. I have sent out 1,000 mailers in the past 5 weeks and am very satisfied with my results. All new members signing up on my website are quickly addressed for any questions they may have by the corporate team that handles all new members coming aboard. My job is just to Promote, Promote, and Promote.
Here’s a quick tip for those that do the mailers. Set your mailers in stacks of say 25 to 50 post cards on a non-slip surface. Take the labeled sheets that have 30 names per sheet on them and tear them down the perforated portions of the page. You now should have 3 strips of labels with 10 names per strip. Take the strip and place your two thumbs on the top label, and with your forefinger and index fingers behind the top label, press your thumbs in an upward motion on the label so that it peels off of the backing. This method is so much faster than pulling each label off individually from the strip. After some practice you’ll get a rhythm that will allow you to do 250 mailers in a very short time.
Another tip regarding the mailers is only buy rolls of .26 cents stamps because you can apply these at a much faster rate to your mailers than if you were pulling the postage stamps off of the sheets that the post office also sells. I bought the sheets one time because my post office had run out of the rolls. I will just go to another post office next time so that I don’t have to buy the sheets of stamps. I want the rolls only.
